MEMBERSHIP - NO EXCEPTIONS NEED INSTRUCTION? ARCC has a limited group of instructors available for student pilots. Each new member who seeks instruction will be provided with a list of approved instructors. It will be the responsibility of each student to contact the instructors, arrange training, and work out an appropriate training schedule. Oftentimes our instructors are fully committed and you may have to be patient until an instructor is available. This is a hobby that you will enjoy for years, so please be patient. REMEMBER, INSTRUCTORS LIKE TO FLY THEIR OWN PLANES TOO! Even if your instruction is delayed, there are hundreds of things that can be learned just by hanging out at the field, getting to know more members, and observing the activities. Please also remember that the instructors are not there to repair equipment. You must be prepared to do more than just fly. R/C is one of the finest hobbies on the planet. ARCC does require a positive attitude toward safety, observance of ARCC rules, AMA membership, participation in club events, a commitment to complete training, the ability to invest in the appropriate equipment, and a team spirit. ARCC is a club whose members share friendships, knowledge, a love for aviation, and relentless barbs from the peanut gallery. |
