Landing Skills Event Results
Participants were treated to doughnut holes and coffee for breakfast and the event got under way at 9:00 a.m. sharp.
Flyers were divided into groups by wing span of the plane they were flying:
Less than 50 inches
(sorry... no one entered this one)
50-70 inches
1st Place - Francis deVillier - 55 inch gasoline powered Twist
(SuperTiger .91 glow engine, converted to gas)
2nd Place - Sherman Trahan flying a 60" electric Reactor.
Greater than 70 inches
1st Place - John Woods won the over 70 in class with his Sig Rascal (72 inch electric)
2nd Place - Philip Trett flying his gas powered 81 inch Giant Supersport and in
3rd Place - Larry Scheuermann flying a 76" Ultra Stik, gasoline powered.
Hot dogs, chips and Snikerdoodles were enjoyed by all...
